Ryuya Yajiro (ヤジロリュウヤ, Yajiro Ryuuya), whose birth name was Darien Kenway (ダリアンケンウェイ, Darian Ken'u~ei) is a former pirate and a combat slave who was used by the united kingdom in numerous wars around the globe. He crashlanded on the shores of japan and was eventually accepted by their society, being granted the name of Ryuya Yajiro by those responsible for training him in the way of the samurai.
